I highly recommend this place unless you have absolutely no experience. So if you've never driven a manual this is not the place for you: and not because Mr Rib couldn't teach you, but because you'll ruin their clutch. But seriously if you need your hand held maybe go somewhere else. But if you have a good grip on what a truck is then you should be fine. Former CDL holders or those that drove in the military the 1 day or the week is for you. Everyone else should do the 2 week to 4 week course

If you are trying to get a class a CDL with air brakes and you don’t have experience driving DO NOT take the one day course, you will waste $700 like I did. The truck they use is a 10 speed manual and you won’t figure it out in the one day course with double clutching. When you call and ask they will tell you that you can do it, but you will only get 5 mins of drive time around the block to prepare for your 30 min road test. Instead study the pretrip inspection and air brake test on YouTube a couple weeks before and then take the 1 day course at Don’s towing in Sedalia. They have a 6 speed manual you will be able to pick it up fast and still get the manual endorsement. You also get to drive the same course that you are tested on in the road test.

Shawn and Val are very nice people and has 100 percent respect and went over the pretrip as many times as I needed. If you wanna learn and listen they can and will do what it takes to help you get your CDL A,or B they are pros. Thank you Shawn and Val God Bless
