DEAR CDOT OPEN THIS GOD DAM REST AREA ALREADY WHO CARES THE BUILDING DOESN'T WORK THE PARKING LOT IS STILL GOOD CLOSE THE BUILDING AND LET PEOPLE PARK HERE.

Better than most rest stops. Latrine style toilets and urinals. Plenty of parking for pull through semis, handicapped and general. Just far enough south of Castle Rock before Colorado springs.

If you need to rest, park or let your dogs out this place is fine, but avoid the restrooms at all cost. This place is a glorified port-a-potty as there is no running water all your "business" is dropped down a giant hole where it just sets, and afterward there are no sinks so you cannot wash the filth of the "toilets" off you. Just avoid if you want a remotely hygienic experience using the restroom.

Nice simple rest area but the bathroom is composed, no flush and cleaning hands with sanitizer only. I didn't use it and went somewhere else instead.

I guess that traveling I'm under the impression that every rest stop should have running water. But to my surprise stopping at a rest stop in Colorado there is no water just hand sanitizers in the bathroom we needed some water for our dog and we had nothing to give him. Besides that the restrooms though were very clean and neat and I did appreciate that. And I did provide a Sharps container in case you need to dispose of any unnecessary things in your car at that's time. We did take some great pictures around the parking lot and my kids were able to run around for a few minutes to get the Wiggles out but I am very disappointed that there was no running water. So if you plan on stopping at the rest stops in Coloado bring your own water.

Very clean restrooms. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Very nice picnic area with awnings over the tables.
