Hosney the 247 realtor for Confederation Bridge
Too too expensive, it should be around $10 per car. Whenever any tourist spot is that expensive, as a tourist we feel like the authorities don't want us to visit different places in Canada. Not happy.

Drive over the bridge for the first time today. That felt surreal to be finally here. The views are so beautiful. It's quite the experience. We turned right off the bridge and took some pics there.

If you want on or off the island there are only two routes. This is definately the faster of the two. The only one that operates all year.

The bridge is cool, as it's definitely a quality piece if infrastructure, but the toll to leave the island is absolutely insane, and increases regularly. Soon it'll probably be cheaper to fly out of Charlottetown airport than drive across. lol

It's an engineering marvel. Spectacular accomplishment which remains as impressive today as it did when it first opened. Remains the longest span in the world over ice water. There is a nice exploration center with some trails and great views on the New Brunswick side. Bring your camera. Keep in mind the trails and the lookout plateau are not kept clear in the snow/winter but the trails are still accessible.

Pretty stellar as far as bridges go. I find the suspension on most bridges dizzying and appreciate that this one is so simple in design. Yes the price is a hindrance for travel, but that's politics. Overall I find it pretty slick and well managed.

$47.75 toll leaving the island, $0 on the way in. It’s a huge feat of engineering and very cool to drive across. The higher your vehicle rides, the better the views. This means a jacked up truck would provide you with the most eye-candy!
