Extreme Gaming (DarksRevenge) for COVENANT TRANSPORT INC
Military Veterans need to be very cautious approaching this company for employment. If you have a disability rating of 100% by the VA and your dd214 states that your are honorable discharge with disability, they tell you it's fine until you get to orientation. Most combat Veterans have problems. I went thru 1 day of orientation, passed everything, and then they tell me that I have to get doctors notes saying I can drive. The VA "WILL NOT" let you "UNDO" your benefits or reverse your benefits. Covenant WILL NOT give you any time to take care of getting the forms they need signed. The VA will say that you need to take breaks after so many hours of driving. Covenant does not allow it. That should be mandatory anyways for "ALL" companies. Covenant only cares about their bottom line. How I know this? I applied to this company twice and both times was sent home. They don't pay to send you home either. The recruiter lied to me saying that everything was fine till I got there. So if you are a Veteran, don't even look at this company for a potential employer! *A little update to this: If you are rated 100% thru the VA for ANY reason and you want to drive tractor trailer, DON'T CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! Update, are these guys still in business? I haven't seen any of their trucks/trailers on the road! LMFAO

I've been here since 7 months now. Me and my wife came here together with experience. We was looking for a company that knew how to run us as a team. We are averaging 5000 to 6000 miles a week and couldn't be happier. We had some hiccups but every company has those. I can't speak about the trainers because we didn't need training. But just because your trainer isn't good doesn't make the company bad. This is truck driving so learn how to run hard and make sure you get plenty of sleep. As long as you run hard you will make good money here. I'm on Team 13 and we love Curtis and Josh. They make sure we are taken care of us. We have never been late for hometime and they made sure we was home in time for our wedding. I will be with this company a long time. Go ahead and give them a call!!!

John House for COVENANT TRANSPORT INC
Covenant is great company but, remember as a driver communication is key. Ask for Alex Carter as a trainer does a excellent job. Also Covenant takes on great risk by allowing new drivers to come work for them with little to no experience. It’s not going to be all sunshine and rainbows everyday that goes with anything you do.

This company is a joke. They lie about a lot of things they say they pay you zip code to zip code but they don’t, you get pay for 700 miles for driving 720 miles (and if you drive 2070 miles you get paid 2000) so that’s not zip code to zip code). You also have to call like 100 times to get your flight ticket reimbursement (if they pick up your call, your lucky). There are a lot things to complain about but I see lot of people have left reviews about those things. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

This company has been very unprofessional. Living situation was unbearable. There was no linens and pillows on the bed upon arriving. The room was also infested with cockroach and mice. The shower was not working, bathtub was extremely dirty. Very unhygienic. Would not recommend anyone to stay in their rooms. Garbage was scattered everywhere on the first floor. To make matters worse the instructor was unprofessional and using Derogatory slurs during my road test. Of all of the employees Anna was the only emoloyee who was welcoming.

Loved working here. I was here for a while back in the late 90nitys early 2000 thousands. I left because I didn't want to run team. Had great fleet managers great equipment. If you broke down they were on top of it. Great company all the way around. My miles never dropped below 2700. Miss the company and the people. I was around and they didn't have a van drivers I would get approval to drive. I helped in anyway I could. I miss Chattanooga too. Very fun place. I miss you all. If had solos I would be back in the saddle in a heart beat. Thanks Travis Maddox

Just left Company today after Orientation Covenant will hire you but don't tell you after Orientation no Trucks available. I was told 48 hours or more. Glad I drove my pick up to Covenant they have no idea who they had as a driver been trucking 12 yrs no accidents no tickets. Very unstructured company. First impression tells a lot of a company. I was ready to go, but Covenant was not. Drivers please don't be influenced by my response however this was my experience at Covenant what a shame. Company needs a better truck Cordinator. Going to loose the best drivers over waiting days for a Truck!!
