Zena's Express, LLC for DOUG ANDRUS DISTRIBUTING LLC
I did a pocatello to pdx load on 12/06 for Bert/Justin Barber. Invoiced it on the 9th. They had no info on pick up or delivery. They winged it the whole time. Chose 10 day quick pay, but accounting became u responsive n paid it at their leisure. The vice president call me up, bcuz he wanted this review to be edited. Had a condescending attitude ofcourse, he is the vice president. Ignored everything I told about the load and how this review came about.

I just got done with there orientation yesterday. I use to work for them right out of truck driving school. They have definitely changed.... There more relaxed, last time I was they wanted me to do flatbed. I did it for awhile but not this Italian. Flatbed wasn't for me. I told them I wanted to go reefer; but they said it's flatbed or nothing, so I went to Knight. They care about the drivers wants and there needs. It's better environment.

Drivers are very aggressive and reckless. Driving 55+ in a 45 zone while tailgating about 3 feet from the car in front of them. There is no way they could stop safely in an accident that close.

Not military veteran friendly. They wanted me to compromise my values that allowed me to serve honorably for 20 years to further benefit their company. I went to work for them on the word of Sage Truck Driving School out of Caldwell, ID that they were a military Veteran family oriented company. On day two the trainer Shannon wanted me to falsify my HOS logs saying I was driving while he was still driving. This kept happening for the next 17 days collimating in Shannon telling me to “just go with it for a couple more weeks and you’ll have your own truck making $70,000 a year.” Upon return to the terminal I went to management to request a new trainer to find out I had been terminated. I went to safety to get a copy of my logs so that I could report Doug Andrus to the FMCSA. Jeff from Safety was belittling the entire time repeatedly saying “you just can’t handle being a trucker”.

Called on a load from ID to KY. The place where it was delivering to is Kroger, and they are notorious for holding trucks for days, so i asked the broker, do you pay detention in case they will hold the truck? NO, I DON'T WANT TO START OFF THIS WAY, and hung up. Tells me already what broker they are and how they take care of carriers. They will squeeze everything out of you, but when its time to compensate, lets hang up the phone. DO NOT USE!
