Howard Johnson by Wyndham Atlanta Airport/College Park

This was horrible. We were going to stay with family but it really was too crowded to do so. It was dirty from the moment you pulled up. Everything was dingy and outdated. We got up to the room and had to struggle to get the key to actually work. They only gave us one even though there were three adults. The elevator was rickety and my poor grandson, 20 months, was terrified he was going to fall. The hallways looked like they came straight out of the 70s. The room I booked was supposed to sleep five. It only has two double beds. No place for a fifth person if we would’ve had one. No breakfast was available, even though it was advertised to have it. The room itself was absolutely filthy, the carpets, the bathroom. There were holes in the walls everywhere. A cigarette burn in the bedding. Were checked in, dropped our belongings off then didn’t return until late. Did not realize how bad it was until the next morning. By that point we already spent one night. We decided to stay the second night because it would just be too much of a hassle to try to find some place else just to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. It’s unclean, not great service. They just simply and clearly do not care in the least.

Do NOT stay here. A mistake was made in assuming it would be decent since it was close to the airport. We quickly realized that was not the case. There was no breakfast and when we booked this hotel specifically for that reason, the work out area was closed, everything was dirty and needed a wipe down. We haven't even made it to the room yet! The lady who checked us in was not a people person but the lady who checked us out was a doll! The elevator was grungy and I didn't even want to press the button. It had a old, musty smell to it and the hallways were HOT. finally, we made it to our room and I definitely did not want to touch the lock on the door. The bathroom was small but looked clean enough. There was a spit in the sheet that looked like it was from cigarette ashes. The chairs and lam shade were disgusting. The ceiling was in horrible shape. Everything need a good wipe down. Literally the only good thing about this hotel qas the fact that you could watch the airplanes take off.

Would never come here again. Truly made a mistake coming here. Believe the old adage you get what you pay for. All kind of Marijuana scents. The room is totally disgusting. We couldn't get our money back. Have to leave your ID at front desk to use the luggage cart. No breakfast, no pool definitely would not recommend or come back to another Howard Johnson. 😢

Everyone please listen and listen well do not waste your Money on this Hotel it is more than a disgrace this property need to be shut down the owner don't care at all about how you feel or not it's so much water stains and mold in this property be very careful. everything in the rooms is old and out dated since they first open NO FREE BREAKFAST also false advertising I have so many pictures of Dirty Sheets, Food stain in the Sheets, other people Hair in the Sheets, Tubs and walls have cracks, and it small so bad in the rooms, AC was on 61 DON'T GET COLD at all the Fan just blow Low Cool air only this Hotel look like something they need to used for HALLOWEEN ONLY!! If I can give them 0 stars I will

Wow.......where to begin............ We stayed here in 2017 and had a whole different experience and needless to say that after our most recent stay we will not be back. June of 2017 review..........Other than a few very minor things my stay was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again; would recommend this place.

Safe. Right off freeway. Our t.v. didn't work right. Just tried shower. First so hot you couldn't use it. Then it turned cold, finally okay. Shower curtain doesn't work right, now we need to mop.Crazy. it was a black Friday special for 45. Yeah, I know..

Hotel was at a great location next to I-285 and next to ATL airport. Room was comfortable, loved the in house restaurant. Only improvement it needs is the parking lot. But overall, worth staying.

Did the park and fly and the only good thing about this hotel was the ability to park my car while we were gone. We were leaving for Chicago for our honeymoon (we got married the day before.) Shuttle did not run on time when we were about to go to the airport. Room was dingy, not very clean, was very glad we got there late at night and got to leave the very next morning. When we got back to the airport, I called to let them know we had arrived so they could have a shuttle come for us. Waited 20 minutes and nothing happened, so I called back and was then told they would send him. (so he had not already been sent when I called the first time) he then took another 20 minutes to arrive even though it is only a 9-minute drive. Waited over an hour just for the shuttle. He then drove half the way without his seat belt while on the interstate. Do not recommend and won't be staying again.

Staying in the King Suite. I paid for a expensive room so I can get something fairly decent but as soon as I got off of the elevator i smelled moldy carpet. The towels in my room looked refolded from the previous guest. The sheets were wrinkled as well as if the bed was just remade. My trash cans were full of trash. I called downstairs no answer and when I went to complain know one is at the desk.

Older hotel in the process of renovating and upgrading. Stayed in a double bed room for 3 days. Hotel was clean, as clean as it could be when certain aspects of the hotel need a serious update. Be aware you will need a car to get around this area. On that note very very careful when driving around the parking lot. It had several potholes and uneven pavement. The hotel did offer non smoking & smoking rooms. An outdoor pool and a restaurant, The Bow Tie. Food was good n fresh. Waitress was amazing. Would recommend this hotel to people that are really looking for basic amenities and accommodations, no frills. To me it was like staying at a motel 6 vs staying at a Wyndham affiliated hotel.
