Had to stop for a bathroom break, while driving home. It's a rest stop bathroom off the highway, therefore I didn't expect a lot. The bathroom was clean though, at least the women's was. The vending machines were stocked with a variety of snacks & drinks. The janitor/cleaning lady was even there during our stop, and she was definitely working. She deserves a raise; I used to clean a truckers office, and their bathrooms were the worse.
Also, the view is actually pretty; it was nice to get out and stretch a bit while enjoying the scenery.

One of my favorite rest areas. Inside very clean and welcoming. Interesting videos about Iowa history. Outside well maintained with lots of green space and tables spread out.

I loved this KOA! There were several beautiful cabins of different sizes and the main bath facility matched them. Sorry I was only there one night. I liked that you don't have to go thru or by the office facility for bathroom. And the pool was clean and relaxing after hot day driving. The layout of the grounds was very appealing, except where the tents were. Tought it odd that tents were set up on the two sides of the pool. I loved being surrounded by corn fields. Felt very comfortable and safe.

This is a beautiful well built rest area. Everyone needs to know the information center is open Thursday through Monday from 5am to 5pm. The bathrooms and vending machines are open 24 hours a day seven days a week. We enjoyed the beauty if the rest area as well as the information we picked up there.
