MC for R E WEST INC
The absolute most dangerous company to hire for transportation. There drivers do not care about safety or obeying any road regulations. We had a driver try to run us off the road in Georgia on 7/29/22 he tried to move into our lane. Didn't care that we were there and proceeded even after continuously honking and alerting. He flicked us off and accelerated, we were lucky the cars next to us slowed down so we could move over. License plate 125046T Tennessee. I have filed a report with FMCSA & DOT, along with video footage from my dashcam and the remaining complaints from others off the website. If you come across the same please file a report and get these people off the road.

My pickup truck was backed into by an R E West driver in a parking area near where they were making a delivery. The company tried to get out of paying for the damages and attempted to have me let them repair my truck. I spoke to several people at the company including owner Bob West. He was more of a jerk than anyone I spoke to at R E West. My insurance company finally got my money back from the damages caused by R E West. This is a horrible company run by con artists.

This is one of the best companies that i have been employed at. You are not just an employee number. All of management does their best to take care of the company and their employees. Sure no company is perfect but there isn’t any company that is. I really appreciate the opportunity this company has given me. I have worked in many different industries from factories to social work. I can say this is one of the better employer’s that actually take care of their employees.

One of their drivers tried to block me from getting around him on the interstate, when I finally was able to he tried to run me off the road when I was more than 3/4’s around him. When I called their “Safety Department” the woman I spoke with was unconcerned. Both their drivers and safety personnel are very unprofessional and drivers are rude dangerous on the roadways.

I received my training thru R E West and was treated like family from the very start. The training on the yard was great you had nothing but time to practice, practice, practice. The training groups were kept small and Duaine was nothing but helpful. I did my three weeks on the road with my trainer and he was instrumental in helping me with my setups for different docking situations. I highly recommend R E West to anyone looking to get into the trucking industry. You are really treated like family.

R.E. West is a great place to get your training. I recently got my CDL through them. Jerry will teach the right way. The whole staff there is awesome. I had some family issues which popped up during my training and let me go home to attend to it and come back and complete my training, Unfortunately those family problems forced me to put my trucking exploits on hold. I had to back out of going out on the road with my trainer at the last minute. It was a painful decision cause they really worked with me and were pulling for me to pass and become part of their team. Hopefully I'll be able to work for them one day.
