The front desk was incredibly rude. We had a small dog with us, and a guest in the room across the hallway filed a complaint about a big dog barking in the room next to them. The front desk, knowing that we had a dog with us, called our room and threatened to move us to the floor below or kick us out if it continued. I argued that it wasn't our dog that was barking but several other dogs barking on our floor. The receptionist said "well we know it's your dog because the guest that complained is right next to your room". But the guest wasn't next to our room, we spoke to him, he was across the hallway and was complaining about the room next to him. He went to go relay that to them and they called and apologized to us but they were still very rude in that first exchange.

Really nice hotel wayyyy better then the red roof in round rock the customer service are very nice and do they best to assist you with your needs rooms very clean and comfortable everything works and pool area is pretty nice not very big but it is 5ft so it's enough

Come in at 11:30 pm tired and wanting to go to sleep just to find housekeeping started to clean but left before completing it. The bed was not made so I couldn't go to sleep. Called the front desk to get someone up to fix it and was told I can't do that and all I can do is switch you to a smaller room with two beds. I was told I had to talk to the GM about compensation. But the GM wouldn't be in until noon, which is past checkout. Not a good experience.

Very dated but room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. The windows were not well insulated and heard the guests who started their motorcycles early in the morning. Also water did not get very hot. Didn't seem like a good value for the price paid for the room.

Worst experience ever. I have done a lot of traveling and never has my reservation been canceled on me. I setup the reservation as a late check-in. I called earlier this evening to verify with them that I was coming and it would be late... no problem they said, we have you marked for late arrival. I get here at 130am and my reservation had been canceled and my room given away. Wow, the next shift can't read notes in the reservation or call to confirm that I was coming. I get that they were booked and needed a room, but so did I and now I don't have one. What a joke this place is. 3 star hotel, HA, more a no star no tell motel. Way to look out for your patrons and veterans that drive into town from hours away looking forward to having a bed to sleep on in the wee hours of the night.

The hotel was exactly as described It's a budget hotel that is relatively close to downtown Austin. The parking lot is patrolled by a guard as well as being monitored by cameras which is a nice feature. The rooms are spacious and well lit. The only drawback is the shower it's rather dated, and did not have all the usual toiletries.

This was a horrible experience... Just basic amenities... So where's the plus? Cold coffee with no milk... And was rudely responded too when asked for a plastic fork... A security guard kindly gave me his personal stash. For him ill give 5 Stars!

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay here. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was easy to find a parking spot. The grounds are very well maintained and a fun place to spend some time. Give Red Roof a try, wherever you are.

Decent rooms and nice staff. The reason I only give a 2 star is because a storm came in the evening we checked in. We had left for the evening and when we returned we found our room floor flooding. The water was coming out of the wall. We called front desk and they offered to bring us towels but did not offer to help get the water up. They said they had no rooms available to move us. The next morning the manager did comp the room which we appreciate. Because of that I will at least give a 2 star.

Being on the road, and away from home, is always hard. I recently spent a month in Austin on business and had the BEST experience ever at the Red Roof PLUS+ Austin South. Juan, the manager, and his staff were the epitome of professional and courteous – everyone I encountered went out of their way to make my stay a 5 star – however, If I could give them a 10-star rating, I would. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to my next trip to Austin. Thank you, Juan and staff for making me feel welcome at my “home away from home”.
