I'm going to be honest we were on our way back to East Texas when a horrible scary storm hit so we pulled over at this rest area. The rain was coming down so hard I can't tell you for sure what it looked like, but I can tell you that it was well lit and made me feel safe enough to sit there in the middle of the night and wait out the rest of the storm!! I was even able to catch a little nap!!

We stopped here to stretch and relieve ourselves. The rest area was not in good order. There was no soap in the dispensers and the bathrooms were smelly and not clean. We will avoid this next trip. We traveled through on a Saturday.

This park is best left for the animals. It is not a nice clean rest area, the restrooms are just old and broken down, the outside area is ok. You need to walk the dog? Good. You need to use the can? Better dig out that Gatorade bottle.

It was ok. Restrooms weren't very clean, it was night when stopped, poor lighting kinda scary being female alone. If I didn't have to go so bad would have kept going due to being so poorly lit at night.

Very nice rest area. The restrooms are always very clean, and the ladies at the front desk always pleasant. Plus, you can have complimentary coffee, and pick up brochures of nearby places to visit. Great place to stop for a picnic, or let the kids run around and expend some their energy, or maybe just stretch your legs for a while. Also a nice area for those furrier four legged members of the family too; just remember to be courteous and please pick up after your pooch. Let's keep it clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

Fractionally better than an outhouse. Worse than a port a potty sitting untouched for 2 weeks. Multiple visitors complained about the sanitation. 4 stalls in ladies restroom. Door locks were non existant. At least ladies had soap. Doors were rusted and not clean.
