Rest Area I-64 Eastbound

Was driving all night and decided to rest here for a few hours. Had no issues with the short stay, no one bothered us and we felt semi safe with all the people parked. Bathrooms were OK, nothing special but they were better than nothing at all.

Very well maintained. Nice landscaping. Clean facilities. Even a lite snack if needed. Well stocked vending machines.

Closed bathrooms roped off with yellow tape 8/8/22. They should have gave notice on the rest area sign on the interstate that this was the case, as that is probably the main reason people come here. There were porta-potties if you walked around behind the building and looked down the hill. You would not see these from the main area. They also had vending machines and picnic tables with shade trees.

Well-lit at night, good handicapped parking access. The restrooms building has the usual - rack of travel brochures, large map and water fountains (1 accessible). Restrooms are clean, but very rundown. In the women's restroom, two out of three hand dryers are broken, two out of three sink faucets won't shut off completely. There are a few picnic tables, with a couple under cover. Separate covered vending machine area with soda, water & snacks available. The dog walk is basically the median strip. I suppose it's useful for its purpose, but not a great place for a stroll. December 2021, it's posted that face masks are required for entry, but no one but me and the cleaning lady were wearing one. Overall, I've definitely seen worse and the cleanliness of the restrooms is outstanding. Adequate for a quick pit stop, but I would probably choose a different one if you're looking for a place to picnic or spend some time to stretch your legs.

The cleanest freshest rest stop I think I've ever been to! You can tell the people working here must like their jobs! Excellent even my 7 year old commented how clean it was.

Stopped at 3:30 AM and surprised the super kind cleaner. I can't believe how clean these restrooms are! I've never been in a cleaner public bathroom. Great job!

Stopped in the motor home to rest a bit. No problems or issues. Clean.

Very clean and well maintained rest area. The restrooms were immaculate, which is something I be never said about a rest area before, so I was impressed.
