Do not attend this school! I attended this school for 1 month and only received my class A learners. Graduated in Dec. 16th 2020 with no certificate or nothing.... It is now, April of 2021 and still no certificate or call from school.. It really is a inconvenience! I actually left my job of 7 years to start a career in truck driving and got taken for my money! I actually paid $3,999.00 out of my pocket! Not a grant! Out of my whole class, I don’t thing anyone received there certificate or Class A license within that month!

Willie Wiggins // Resilient Road Runners for Shippers' Choice - CDL Training School
Okay, so - here’s my thing: the school is actually very convenient, especially during this pandemic. Their structure was devised to benefit the student. I started December 4, 2020 and finished January 20, 2021 with a two week holiday break in between those two dates. The information is there, the resources were limited and a tad bit scarce because of the size of the class, but as an adult and an individual with a goal it falls on you to take advantage of every opportunity to learn. And that is exactly what I did. Every time something needed to be done whether it was backing, moving a truck to a designated spot, et cetera - I jumped at the opportunity. Even after I graduated, Ed allowed me to come into class as much as I wanted to ensure that I was comfortable as possible for my Feb. 3, 2021 CDL test date. I passed and I now have my CDL and I started working for a company already. The instructors (Anthony, Rob, Terry, John, and Mike) are amazing and essential. They will literally share with you everything they possibly can all in an effort to help you succeed and excel. Every story, every situation will be different, but it’s up to YOU to make the best of it. Rachel is a sweetheart although she can be quite assertive and borderline aggressive, but what do you expect from the only female in a male dominated establishment? She is also quite proficient in her job duties - she carries the program. Ed is one hell of a guy, he will do EVERYTHING he can to assist you on your CDL journey. Matthew isn’t egregiously bad; however, I had some issues with his lack of transparency and clarity when he tries to recruit people to the school. This is one of the reasons I couldn’t give five stars. *If you are not ready to drive an 80,000 pound vehicle, they are not going to throw you to the wolves. People get upset because they are there longer than the month they thought they were going to be there for, but that’s just simply because they aren’t ready. Everyone learns at their own pace, and I don’t know about you but I don’t want a 80,000 pound truck next to me, my family, or loved ones if they don’t know what they are doing. Furthermore, if they keep you there - it’s benefitting you, not them. It actually costs them A LOT to keep a student there past the 28 days. Think about it. Lastly, the trucks do break down a lot - but they are promptly sent to a repair shop. The trucks are older and are constantly abused because students are learning on them, but from a business perspective it makes no sense to buy new or newer equipment just for it to be torn up. So, I get it. Unfortunately, when the trucks go into the shop it puts a strain on the course and curriculum because the resources become limited. Overall, I recommend the course if you’re going into it with your head screwed on you know exactly what you want and are willing to put in the work to obtain it.

Do not go to this school these are the most unprofessional people and instructors I have ever seen!!! They do not keep up with current rules and regulations from the DMV. They do not take the government mandate with mask seriously, no one keeps there mask on! Every time you call there office THEY ARE SUPER RUDE!!! If you pay your hard working money you deserve to be treated right! They do have one AMAZING PERSON HER NAME IS RACHEL They need more people like her!
