8/19 Baker, NV to Thompson Springs Utah, fairly decent roads, Hwy 50 ( Americas loneliest Highway). Lots of twists and turns, long ride thru the mountains. Stayed at Ballard RV Park, average okay. Watering hole on site.

Good rest stop with multiple areas for sitting and bathrooms. Also they have a dirt area marked for animals to walk the dog around in. Great views

Traveling through the area I stopped at the Utah welcome center. Its a medium sized rest area seems like lots of truck parking to the left. okay amount car parking to the right. The best part is the sites and trails behind the rest area that overlook the region and show a gorgeous view.

Nice small rest stop. Very clean facilities with a nice garden out front. I loved this pet area out back. It is a sign in the dirt with nothing but hundreds of miles of desert behind it. I think it is fair to say your pets will have plenty of room to do their business 😉

One of the best rest stops in the usa… clean, peaceful & helpful staff.. there’s portable water, picnic area & pet area.. also a hiking trail.. great for rv’s too.

Great rest area in the middle of nowhere! Restrooms are clean, parking is spacious, and there's a couple hiking trails in the back for the pupper!

This is a great stop with a gorgeous visitors center staffed by a pleasant, knowledgeable docent. There is a Travel Bug Hotel for geocachers here at this location - we dropped off two travel bugs and got a bit of geocaching done along the way.

awful experience, white-haired woman at the front was so rude. if you don’t have manners by this age, I just don’t know what to say. I’m so disappointed. My 12 year old has better manners!!

On our socially distancing vacay, we made a stop here. The lady that was working here was quite helpful, gave us some pointers, was so patient with us out of towners. Don't forget to walk around here and take some nice photos of the beautiful mountains in the distance.

Slept here one night when I was too tired to make it to Arches National Park. Great spot, clean facilities, and the area looks really well-kept. I felt comfortable and safe sleeping here over the night, and woke up unbothered, with no issues. Lots of parking spaces, spread out over a fair bit of space. A bit of grass for pets to walk, and the entire area is very clean.
10/10 wouldn't want to sleep here again, but if necessary, I would happily sleep here again.
