Watch your kids these little houses seem like a great place to play and a lot of kids were running around and then there were shady looking dudes to the side and my daughter said she felt uncomfortable going over there and I said good job following your instincts but it just seems like a great place to get kidnapped.

The whole purpose of this rest area is to use the restroom, and yet they are neither clean nor particularly restful. Just stop at a gas station elsewhere at least you can buy a water there.

A wonderful place to stop and stretch your legs and use the other very clean restrooms. I just enjoy thats its entirely wood and they are on risers. Still, one the nicer stops on I-25 honestly.

It's an easy pull off from the freeway a quick trip in with a short walk then jump back on the freeway. It is usually clean there, it usually does not stink and you do have to watch for snakes. There are signs that tell you that. The rest area is 16 miles north of Socorro on each side of the freeway. There are a few spots for tractor trailer parking.
