I love love love this little hop back in time. The rooms are clean and quiet. The bed comfortable and the price can't can't can't be beat. Prompt friendly service.

The rooms I've been in are actually pretty nice, the price is the cheapest you'll find in town, the service leaves a little to be desired, but it is a budget hotel after all. I've never had issues booking here and even though it's budget I feel safe here.

MY FWD for Budget Host Inn Emporia
CHEAP AND CLOSE. A/C WAS ICE COLD AND SHOWERS WERE GOOD. FAST AND EASY OFF AND ON THATS OFF THE TOLL ROAD

🤢👎👎👎Cockroaches. Questionable people. Outdated features and rooms. Shabby. Not clean. No nearby restaurant. Or anything for that matter due to the fact that it's by the city limits out on a highway leaving the east side of Emporia.

The motel has anchored the east side of town for a couple of generations, already! One building was the first motel in town. It shows. All the new chain shops are on the other side of the city so there’s no competition here to drive good maintenance and upkeep. The room was acceptably clean, but musty. Shower and toilet area is showing it’s age. Host that checked us in was friendly and talkative (got the history details from him) in contrast to the check-out clerk - woof. Definitely the low-overhead operation makes a budget stay. Even though it is situated on the highway, we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all. Over the railroad bridge to the west lies a great town. Hurry out and go explore.
