Giant Food

Consistently out of stock of large amounts of anything popular. Consistently is an understatement. I only know that this place continues to live up to my lack of any faith in them because I'll pop in hoping to get lucky and avoid the extra 10 block walk to the Harris Teeter (who actually employees people to restock throughout the day). I'm rarely every surprised. Go elsewhere

Big store excellent quality of food and food types. Professional staff helpful like to sharp there. Have to adjust my budget a little bit. Better quality of food costs a little more.

Six dollars, six dollars. This is awesome 2 piece breast and wing meal with 2 not 1 but 2 delicious sides. You have to check them out the associates do a great job with the food.

Nice spot that's convenient for H Street. The store is a full Giant, and they have everything you'd expect to see in any other grocery store. Good produce, and I enjoy their sale shelf. Nice to be able to walk here and walk out. I've never driven here, and I don't know what their parking situation is, but there's generally space on H Street (they may also have a structure). It's nice to be able to have a full service store in the city!

I remember when the giant opened. it didn't have the pharmacy originally and seemed to lack organization. over the years they have made lots of improvements including the nice new self checkout machine that make my grocery run that much quicker. Still a little more they can do when it comes to neat appearance and people who work there knowing where things are but they have made great strides.

Great location. You can shop for more than just food free parking in the garage and a very clean environment

Great quality, great variety. The fact that I have yet to have a single issue with the self checkout makes it already better than most stores.

It was great. I came in, I knew what I wanted, I got it, and there were no lines. I was able to get in and get out quickly. They have plenty of parking underground which makes things wonderful. It is a nice giant to have on H Street. It is in a good location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their apple turnovers are absolutely delicious I have brought them twice in one week. They are so flaky and light. They taste better than Safeway's. I usually prefer Safeway's bakery goods over Giants any day, but they have sold me on their apple turnovers. You only get four and you cannot eat just one. You are more likely to eat three. They are not tiny either. I really like the fact that they have a neighborhood bulletin board. I also like the fact that the neighborhood bulletin board is where people can actually see it. It is on the wall as you are coming down the corridor to get into the main part of the Giant Food store. It is so easy to notice. If you do not see it on your way in, you will definitely see it on your way out going down that long corridor.

Nichole and Lawrence are wonderful. Giant has everything you need. Shout out to Deli people. Also best thing about Giant is they take COMPETITORS COUPONS and have great prices. Much nicer than Whole Foods right down the street!
