Not sure what my life has become now that I'm reviewing a rest area (in Louisiana no less) but here we are! It really is great. I've been by multiple times and the worst time to go is when the staff isn't there. They are so welcoming and nice. They even give you coffee since they understand how boring the drive on I-20 can be. If you are lucky to go on a rainy day, you can walk to the bathrooms and pretend to be a samurai from a Japanese film, since the area around the bathrooms captures that aesthetic really well. If you know, you know, y'know?

The Louisiana welcome center off of I-20 East is one of the best anywhere. Beautifully landscaped. Well laid out. The main building is staffed during the day and has lots of information available. It also has multiple facilities that are well maintained.

Hands down the nicest rest area I have ever stopped at! Just as in Jurrasic Park, they spared no expense! All hardwood decking, walls and ceilings outside. Beautiful stone and tile walls and floors inside. Now if we can just get them to spend a little of that money on the highway i had to take to get to this beautiful rest area, then we'll be in much better shape!😁

Very CLEAN! Nice, large spots for plenty of trucks and RV's. The RV Dump is BEFORE you go past all the parking! So you can dump, THEN go park! Very happy with the facilities here.
