I don't live in BR, but I always stop at Trader Joe's when I'm coming through town to grab unique snacks and treats for my family and friends. They usually have a great selection of fresh flowers to choose from as well. Our favorites are the dark chocolate peanut butter cups, dark chocolate and sea salt covered almonds, and the dried fruit chips.

While the store and its selection are not as large as TJ's in other cities, the staff is truly excellent and helpful, and this is one of the brightest gems among markets in Baton Rouge. As examples of the staff's attentiveness, once my toddler was nodding off in the grocery cart (having had no nap), and the manager gave her a set of soft dish towels for free to rest her head upon; my daughter always enjoys searching for Mike the Tiger hidden in the store to win one of their fine lollipops, also a regular treat at home (for me too). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend any other particular products to try, because everything is good and I want to ensure a supply of our own favorites. :) Only current complaint is that they are not requiring make and do not have safety dividers at checkout.

Very nice and organized store. Has a lot of healthy snacks and a lot of frozen products. Just a great range of products but they are missing some products! Otherwise just a great store

There is still a line 6 ft apart to get in the store most of the day with the exception of senior citizens that have a separate line outside and are let in immediately

It’s a nice store. It has some niche items you cannot find elsewhere. It has good quality frozen foods at a reasonable price. Took away a bc star because this location is small and does not stock all items. Parking isn’t great either.

I bought quite a few things alone w/ 2 bottles of wine and got home and one of the handles broke so i tried carrying it with both hands and the bag fell and both wine bottles busted. I called and Mary was absolutely amazing and super sweet even when she checked me out today!! She gave me a trader joes bag for my wines that they happily replaced for me!! They are outstanding here :-) thanks so much Mary!

Wonderlust for Trader Joe's
We love Trader Joe's and were happy to see a location here so we had to stop by for some essentials while visiting Baton Rouge. This particular location is a bit smaller than others we have been to but still has a great selection of frozen foods, fresh produce, baked goods, beer and wines and more. The pricing is very good and a bit lower than other "healthy" food stores. Very nice!
