Nice truck stop. Is an older mom and pop place that there saint many of anymore. There is lots of parking. They have about 8 Facebook stalls in the men's room. There are showers and laundry. There is hot case food and a restaurant. There is also a subway. They have a lot of souvenir type stuff. My only complaint is after eating food from the hot box, chicken strips and mashed potatoes with gravy, I wish I had been a dog........

First went there at lunch and had breakfast. The Trucker special, hit the spot. So big I didn't eat dinner. Next day lunch was The Pig & Bull. BBQ beef & ham Swiss cheese on Texas toast. Not bad had to try they smoked meats. My brother had the Culb sandwich. That's what bought us back, the Bacon. Amazing

No fuel in any of the pumps on 9/1/22 at 6:38pm for semi trucks. Female clerk on duty had an attitude about it too. She had no courtesy. The mens bathroom stall door is also completely unhinged and they just left it there hanging. Don’t come here. Ironically, this place is not trucker friendly. Go to the Loves right across the street from it. You’ll get fuel there as well as friendly associates.

This may not be fancy as the other national truck stops, but it is unique on its own! The people working here are very nice. There was an old lady who made conversation with me, that was very nice of her. The deli is awesome, they have a bunch of knives, I love knives, and so much more!!!!

Great pulled pork! The brisket was probably the worst I have ever eaten, super bland taste & very dry. Nice salad bar, green beans were okay, the baked beans were gross. The restaurant was clean, and had pretty fast service.

Called the cops at 1 in the morning and made truckers leave if they weren’t in a “spot” even though the roads were iced over and driving conditions were dangerous. Made at least 14 trucks leave this stop to continue driving on dangerous roads instead of providing a safe space to them to sleep.

Has to be one of the, if not THE, cleanest truck stops I've ever been to. Really good food and friendly people too. Will definitely be back.

I absolutely love the bathroom. The doors on the stalls are unexpected. The food was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.
Found parking in the lot. Dog area to run is a huge plus.
Will definitely recommend and we will definitely return again and again. Very much appreciated the hot roll with dinner. Noone does that anymore

I drive back-and-forth between Missouri and Texas often, and I used to stop at this gas station every time because their restrooms were spacious and clean. Until today, they are violently opposed to safety protocols. I was refused service when asking the cashiers to keep 6ft distance or wear a mask. They were actually pretty violent about it, but they pointed me to across the street to Loves. They follow safety protocol, if you’re a decent human being or immune compromised go to Loves ❤️

Awesome all around truck stop! Great older clean showers that are spacious and hey even tape the toilet after every cleaning. People were friendly and the fried chicken made the whole place smell fabulous!!

Very lovely experience, two waitresses they were busy yet courteous, delicious food you have to order the smoked chicken and green beans. Showers are nice and clean. The store had all the convenience of a truck stop plus extra little nik naks you just have to have but don’t need. Plus the counter help was delivered with a smile. Thank you keep up the great service.

Its a good truck stop. Everything going for it. Nice people working there, clean, plenty of room for trucks, but... the food is terrible at the woodshed and the silverware and plates are dirty. Other than that it's great. Still better than a McDonald's or subway

The big truckstop chains have no soul. The Woodshed in Big Cabin does. It's relaxing place with an expansive truck parking lot, good food, hot showers, and cool nights for sleeping like a drunk baby. And the location is great, as their exit is the traffic light for the Turnpike. Just drive straight across the intersection. You know it's a great place because a Love's recently set up nearby, trying to bask in the glory of the Woodshed.
