Amazing service! Our specialist was Andrea, and she was amazingly kind and happy throughout our entire interaction.

You have stanchions sectioning off where customers are permitted to be, so I stand behind it, no where near your employees or product, and I get rushed by an employee telling me you need to be screened... "So I cant stand here? behind you stanchion and simply look?" Her response, yes but you cant come in or touch anything... OK... because clearly I was just standing here looking. I wasnt moving, touching anything, and wearing a mask. Please take 5 seconds to say "hello" to customers before making them feel like they are breaking the rules. Had she asked me if I needed help, I would had said, no thank you, just looking from this obviously safe distance.

I recently went to Costco optical in Conroe after having a poor customer service experience at a local vision competitor. I was hopeful. The service was friendly enough when I showed up in person and found less expensive options for my needs. I made the purchase. Then it was time to talk about my shipping needs. I had a conversation with the Costco clerk about my shipping needs and that the address on file wasn’t my home address but my parents. She asked if I’d like to pick up in store. I said yes. She had already printed my receipt though. She said she’d make the change. So I called one week later, as I’d been told they’d be ready for pick up on this date. I called at the start of business hours on the dot. It took me 3 calls, 1 disconnected call, and on the 5th call I found out my package had been shipped against my request to the wrong address. These things were addressed in person but not followed through with on the other end. As a new Costco customer, I am unimpressed. Less expensive prices are great but I also expect matched customer service. The quality of customer service in general is rapidly diminishing. Inattention to detail is interrupting lives and medical needs.

I had a wonderful experience at the Costco Vision Center! I went in to inquire information and they were able to schedule me for the very next day (a Sunday!). I went and had zero wait time. They got me right in. The doctor, James Yang, was thorough but quick. Got my prescription wrote up and was able to walk right into Costco and get the prescription. They’ll have my contacts in in 2 days! They were friendly, fast, and very inexpensive with my insurance! Will definitely be going back there for my annual exams. Just another reason to love Costco!
