This place is amazing!! The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area! The coffee is free and always fresh. I highly recommend for anyone traveling or just stopping by for some friendly conversation and a cup of coffee!!!

How can you be closed when the doors are unlocked and people going in and out? And then say someone needs a mask when you don't even have one close by? If this Louisiana's welcoming center, keep you state and the lairs who live in it!

What a wonderful facility! Our family loves to stop here to see friendly faces. We love Kristen who always remembers all of our family members who stop in. It’s a safe, and clean stopping point. Also, the gift shop is very cute! Bonus! Anytime we travel to Louisiana we make a point to stop here and soak in the beautiful state of Louisiana. Thank you for providing such a wonderful, safe place.

Definitely one of the nicest visitor centers I've seen! There are some really beautiful art pieces by local artists in the main lobby, a gift shop, free coffee, and as you would imagine, a ton of information on what to do in and around Lake Charles. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They pointed us to a splash pad and kids park just a mile down the road which is open to the public, because we were looking for a place to give our kids a break from the road trip. Thanks so much!

One of the nicest visitor centers I have been to by far! Definitely a place to stop. They have an AMAZING selection of pamphlets, lots of seating, and outdoor trail, cool sculptures, and really clean bathrooms.
I was pleasantly surprised. This would be a great place to stop for lunch or just to take a break.

Visited in April, 2018. Very helpful people and lots of pamphlets for the area. If you ask at the from, they have state maps in a drawer.
Free coffee and a small gift shop are on the center as well. A short walk outside will take you to a Louisiana sign and then an enclosure that has some small alligators to look at. Makes for a nice stop.
