Night shift rocks, humble and relax, just work and focus on you... Motivational spirits but can get eerie! Watch out for those small minded with boring, broke, noisy individuals

Their entire receiving system is based on inconveniencing drivers. Show up on time? Here: go back out and park on the street (yeah, the one with loads of 'no parking' signs everywhere and active police patrols), fill out this form, and call this number. Once you've done that wait for a call, come back through the guard shack, then dock in our insufficient yard. A driver from my company arrived after I did with a full trailer and is already leaving. I had TWO PALLETS and have been sitting here for 3hrs now. Make that make sense. Second McLane facility I've delivered to and the second McLane facility that treats drivers like garbage. If you can, cancel your load and find something else. These people will never change until drivers get together to force better efficiency and accountability.

Decent place to deliver. Not bad like I thought it was going to be, judging from the reviews. Please make sure you CALL BEFORE YOU ARRIVE because they don’t have parking available. I had a 1 AM appointment and called at 12:15 AM just before I was to arrive. The nice lady in Receiving gave me instructions and told me to park on the I-85 off ramp (since I let her know I was about to get off the highway at their exit). She said she would call me when she had a door. Twenty minutes later she called me with a dock assignment. It was then 12:40 AM. I checked in with the kind security guard. She took my paperwork and told me what to do. At 2:25 AM the Receiving lady called to let me know I was empty and could come pick up my paperwork. It was a very smooth process. I only gave 4 stars because they don’t have parking for us on their property. Outside of that, I had a very good experience.

Great place really quick, but they need a new guard he doesn't speak very good English and rather rude.

As per the norm it’s Atlanta. Employees are rude, not helpful, and ignorant. It a mess, trucks parked all over the street. Don’t pull up to the guard shack unless you have already called receiving and given them your PO#. If you have never been here before and don’t know this, their are no signs or instructions to let you know. Then when you ask that’s when you get that Atlanta charm from the employees. By far the most unorganized McLane I have ever been to.

There's a very ratchet recruiter named Kinsheka. Her name alone is ratchet. Who hired this little girl? She has absolutely no phone etiquette whatsoever. I applied for a job and she emailed me to contact her only thing is she was too lazy to type her entire phone number where she could be reached. She doesn't take time to proof read. Nonetheless I called corporate and had to figure out what her extension was. I called her for 2 whole business days & left voicemails for her twice. None of which she returned. In the email she stated I could respond to the same email, when I did, I received a auto reply thanking me for submitting a application. I decided to call her today with my number private she answers immediately. I greeted her politely and informed her I was trying to get ahold of her for 2 days. She very rudely and arrogantly told me "I have several driver applicants soooo um." It was like talking to a 15yr old. She asked me what my name is because she was listening when I told her my name when she answered the phone. She placed me on hold to find my application. When she came back she started making childish noises with her mouth. She started providing details to a job that didn't sound at all like the one I applied for. After she finished reading from a job description, I told her the job I applied for didn't say nothing about me being a EXTRA DRIVER or Fill IN DRIVER. She responded " no no no, we have main drivers, you'll be a extra because you're coming in with less than two years experience." I told her I heard what she said, what I'm telling you is that this wasn't the job description online that I applied for. More importantly my app indicates clearly I have more than two yrs experience. I told her I wasn't interested in the job 1.) because it's not what i applied for and 2.) She's unprofessional. She hung up. I called back trying to get her vm so I can leave advice on how she should fix her ghetto phone etiquette. I think she knew I was trying to leave a vm so she kept picking up & hanging up the phone. One time she picked up and told me i was harassing her but she didn't have to answer the phone just like she didn't for 2 whole business days that I tried to reach her. She could of let the call go to vm but she knew i was a out educate her on that vm so again she kept hanging up. They say it's wrong to judge a person by their name. I disagree. Her name speaks volumes. Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet. Who interviewed her? Who hired her? Who supervises her performance? How does she have a job at McLane with zero phone etiquette nor recruiting skills? Whoever hired her need to be fired along with her.

I'm 50/50 on delivering at McLane Foods. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes not ok. The one in Atlanta closed down for the Superbowl and canceled ALL appointments till that Monday night when my appointment was at 5am! But on a better note, the supervisor did work me in that morning, so I was a happy trucker. Thank you sir for helping me out. I know the situation was not your fault.
