The Visitors center was closed to guests due to Covid19 but the restrooms are still open to the public. The restrooms were fresh and clean. There's a bridge between the parking lot and Visitors center which allows you safely cross the highway. On the otherside of the bridge there is a overlook if your capable of climbing a few stories of stairs. The Mountain offers a beautiful view, the air is fresh and crisp. We were there in winter so it was freezing🥶 but an awesome experience to remember. The mountains are so amazing to see close up so if your in the area & time permits check it out. This rest stop offers the opportunity to walk and stretch your legs while being surrounded by the healing energies Mother Earth has to offer for FREE. If your in the area stop for a moment to take it all in for yourself. Travel safely and stay alert in traffic 🤗😁

One of very few rest stops on route 68. Nice rest stop & kept very clean. Westbound side has a scenic overlook with fantastic view.

This has been a must stop place for me EVERY single time I travel this road. Great place to stop with all the amenities. A visitors/tourism center, clean bathrooms, vending machines, tons of open area to walk dogs or sit down for a picnic that has a lovely view. The ramp that goes over the highway is a free amusement park ride, so one can visit both sides of the rest area/welcome center while your vehicle stays in one spot.

Scenic. Unfortunately, no access to display indoors because of Covid precautions. An assistant, or concierge will provide information just inside door. Access to stairs and walk across bridge over interstate open. Good view of geology. Vending machines available. Restrooms open.
