ALDI

BEWARE good kindhearted Cullman folks. Most folks pay it forward and leave the quarter in the buggy or offer the buggy to someone without payment at Aldi's. Then the cycle usually continues. Today, about 3:30 p.m., I watched a tall male employee removing all the quarters he could find in the buggies and pocketing them. I called him a thief and told him to put them back. He pretended to do a couple, but turned around and entered the store. Caught your hand in the cookie jar you LOWLIFE LOOSER. How cheap can you get!!! No conscience whatsoever! Wonder what the store manager has to say about this!! So lessons learned, in the future, don't risk leaving the quarter for your good intentions to be stolen. Rather give the buggy to someone physically if you can.

I can find all the groceries I need at a great price. They also have a great retail isle that always has new and different items. There's something for everyone

Great place to shop for food and save money as well. I am so glad that there is an Aldi near my house so I can shop there!

Just to let the handicap people in Cullman county know that the Assistant Manager of Aldis in Cullman, James, doesn't care about the handicapped individuals in Cullman. He flat out refused to call the person parked in this spot illegally to move their car or to call Cullman city Police to come out and ticket an illegally parked vehicle that was parked in a handicap parking spot without a tag and no hang tag on the rear view mirror. He even said, "Nothing can be done about it anyway." I have to wonder if he would feel so lackadaisical about it if he had mobility problems? It would have been a different story if the parking spaces had been taken up by people that actually had properly displayed handicapped tags, but no, this was not and is not the case and it is terrible when people with mobility issues and proper, legal handicap tags have to park so far away from the store due to the handicap parking laws and parking spaces being disregarded by able bodied drivers and uncaring store mangers. THANKS JAMES, my shopping experience was so bad that I went to a local grocery and paid almost $8.00 for my dozen eggs. I also hope your manager and the corporate office sees this, because I can't be the only person fed up with your kind of attitude.

Produce went bad a couple of days after purchase. No plastic bags to use for groceries. Had to buy paper bags (no handles) which are hard to carry when you have sever arthritis in your hands. Plus the cost "savings" aren't worth the price for having to bag your own groceries.

Great little grocery store; no frills. They focus on the basics. Fair prices are the result. In-and-out shopping is usually doable for the times when you need to just grab a couple items and get out.

The cashiers seem to be bothered and irritable many times. This has happened several times. Because of this I will drive to Fultondale, where the staff is more personable. If you don't like your job you should quit. Just because a person is old and moves slower than you is no reason to be rude.

Great as usual! The trucks made it in and the shelves are beginning to fill up. Found everything I needed.

Clean store, competent clerk, their store brands stand tests of quality and flavor. Some items may be out of stock, but slashed prices, great seasonal items and excellent flavors . New customer? bring a quarter for cart, byo bags. Thick, strong plastic bags cost 11 cents each.

I know the most common conception about Aldi is the low prices, and that is a major reason for me to do my grocery shopping here. I also love that I am able to find imports such as cheeses, charcuterie, candies and such at much lower prices than anywhere else. The specialty items may not be highbrow but I'm not planning on entertaining the Prince of Monaco anytime soon either. Also kudos to Aldi's wine selector: I have always been able to find great options on their shelves including some fantastic Italian, German Eisweins, French and surprisingly decent California. Overall, a good place to fill your larder without breaking your budget.

I am never disappointed with Aldi. Their low prices and quality products have been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. Can't live without Aldi!!!

The place was clean, the employees nice, and the vegan selections were very plentiful. My only compliant was where the checkout lines were crazy long and actually blocking part of the aisles.

This place is always easy to get in and out of. The items they have in stock are always there and easy to find. The employees have always been friendly as well. The store is clean and definitely worth visiting. We are buying about half of our groceries there each week as there are some things that we just prefer getting elsewhere.
