Wonderful rest area with a beautiful scenery to enjoy while eating or taking a break. The facility is clean kept and provides a sense of safety and security. One of the prettiest rest areas we've encountered.

I’ve stopped at this rest area several times when traveling for work and it is more like a tiny, beautiful little park than a typical rest area off of a highway. The little stream in the back and picnic tables always make me want to stay and chill for an hour or two instead of getting back on the road. One downside is that there are no vending machines like you will find at most rest areas but there is a convenience store right across the street (before you get back on the highway) if you need to grab snacks and drinks. A very peaceful and welcoming little spot to take a break from a long drive.

I have never been to a more beautiful and peaceful rest area. They have a beautiful little creek with tiger lilies, plenty of trees offering shade to picnic under... I ended out chilling here longer than I needed to it was so relaxing. It's also staffed during business hours, clean, and well-maintained.

Beautiful place to stop and eat, relax and listen to the river. It has historical significance as a spot on the Trail of Tears. If you like history make this a stop along your journey. I am not regretting it at all. It is VERY wheelchair friendly and has allowed my husband to get around and take pictures. All In All it will be a stop off rest area I will continue to stop at when I travel through North Carolina.

Literally the most beautiful rest stop I have ever been to. Hold it until you get here!
Everything is either brand new or recently renovated. Extremely clean and tidy. 👍🏼
The landscape / views / picnic areas are just perfect. They also have recycling for all the trash you collected on your drive here.
Looking forward to stopping here on our way home 💚

Cannot Believe I am rating a Rest area.
Small little rest area. Quaint little river near the rest area. One can pull out a nice Comforter, spread it out on the lawnand relax.
Take in the Mountain views (Smokey Mountains) and breath in the Crisp Mountain air.
