Capitol Freightliner

Took our truck there and after 1 month they diagnosed everything except for what we brought it in for. Said it was the drivers fault since he brought it up, even AFTER I called and told them we authorize repairs NOT the driver. Charged us $1k+ for “looking” at some stuff they didn’t even fix! Will go out of town and get repairs before I use them again! Don’t do it!

One of the worst dealer in the country, specially the service department, they keep telling you lie, don't care about the customers. I have been told they are going to diagnose my truck within three to four days now it been 9 days when I call them to ask for updates they keep telling if you can't wait come take your truck. Which is unfair to me

They gone check you in park your truck and forget about you. Should you ask? They gone tell you "will start working on it soon". What you know to be soon and they soon is different.

Very happy with my service; they were knowledgeable about the problem I was having with my truck. They took the time to fix it and get the problem solved. Thank you guys for fixing our truck and getting us back on the road!

I have owned multiple freightliners for years . A enthusiast if you will. I have avoided service for a little while now. Most of us owner operators has over here in port alan and baton rouge .Because of the current service manager . Have to give credit when credit is due though , since I will obvisiously state my concerns.This past week I went into capitol parts department and needing parts for my series 60 and my dd15 . The parts i was describing to the older man behind the parts counter , he was struggling to find for me . There was a young mechanic getting parts for a job, with pj on his name tag. I asked for assistance from him . He assisted the older man with finding all the parts I was needing. I asked a couple questions to him while I had him there about problems on my tractors . The knowledge that he has on series 60 and dd engines was very impressive . I am not easily impressed and know these engines pretty well. The young man has me considering to bring my trucks into service for repairs, if the mechanics in the shop are displaying his abilitys .Went well above and beyond for me, while possibly losing money while helping me. Never rushed me off and throughly explained how the engine is operating and what it is looking for . Very impressed with the young man. And would greatly appreciate if whoom receives this review will let the young man know of the job well done . Thanks andre
