Polar Trucking for JX Truck Center - Bloomington
We cannot say enough positive things regarding our experience with JX Bloomington. Our situation was complicated but they made it work and got us back on the road sooner than we could have hoped for. We had to be towed there for a clutch issue but was also scheduled to have our hood replaced from an earlier accident (no fault of ours). Mike S had everything ready and worked with the insurance adjuster for a supplement. Jared did a great job getting our clutch and a few other issues fixed. Both kept us updated on the progress and cost by phone and text. Every dealing we have had with JX, from the purchase four years ago until present has been awesome. Thanks for everything!

The service is awful. We have fixed our truck at body shop and after 2 weeks the bumper and side mirror fallen off. They are not fixing it just playing game with us.

Was very very impressed with the service and the people. Brandy always kept us informed on what was going on with the truck. She is the kind of person that knows how to deal with customers. We will definitely be back. Owner and operator of semi Shane is very very satisfied. Thank you all at Peterbilt for your kindness and getting this truck back on road so quickly. Awesome place!!!!

I’ve recently been to this location several times. I had to write this review after the outstanding performance of everyone at this location. Of the 25 years on the road this shop by far stands out the most. Not just a bunch of mindless robots at the parts or service desk. These people actually enjoy their jobs and it shows. What a great team they have put together. I’m not into the new trucks but Kent almost talked me into buying a new truck. If I were to buy one, it would be here for sure.

Mechanic Caleb was great dude,painter,(didn't catch his name) was awesome, but the way JX Peterbild charges customers is outraged, to change prime fuel filter(5 min job 57$)to grease front end,intermediate shaft and rear axle 99.90$with 25$off,paint quantity 1 -284.41$and 8 hours charge prep and paint 8 shocks,which preping painting was done in 3 hours, I guess they charging 5 extra hours for drying them....very disappointed with pricing!!! or I should say the way they charging!!! But parts prices good,so if u can buy the parts -do it yourself,I would use their services only in emergency, I would buy parts here...they had pretty good reviews,that's why I was under impression that they fair, + parts was at good price I though service would be fair...Mechanics are good ,but again pricing jacked!!!Be back to get those shocks next week will install them myself cos installation quote was to high 4-5hours to replace 8 shocks@115$an hour...Ok I'm out.thanks to mechanics!!!!

As a service shop manager of over 50 tractors good service is a must! in 2016 my company moved from one manufacture of tractors to Peterbilt. As any good shop owner/ manager can tell you receiving new equipment there's the daunting task of learning warranty information, maintenance requirements and general operations of the Tractors. At this point I have used several dealers in the area I have used with out a derogatory word to say about any. However, one facility stands above! From the excellent timely service they provide to general help when needed. JX Peterbilt of Bloomington has risen to the occasion. Over the months of service we have received I can tell you there is not a person in that facility from Mike pippin my outside parts rep, the guys behind the parts counter that go above and beyond all the way to the general and service managers in the shop that wouldn't hesitate to help make a customer happy! I would recommend this shop to anybody that expects nothing less than top notch service with a smile. With that said there's one person that I'd like to especially Thank. In the overly busy world of trucking , no matter what issue I have, how long it will take or how busy they get over at the shop , I can't think of a time she hasn't pulled through and made it happen for us over here! To us that's what it takes to keep customers happy and coming back! From the friendly voice on the other side to the good feeling you have when you hang up the phone knowing your in great hands. Thank you Brandy!

It’s been said that you only have one chance at a first impression. While picking up a load in Bloomington, I developed a battery problem that led me here for my first time. The first person that I encountered was Amber at the service desk and, I honestly have to say, that JX Peterbilt would be hard pressed to find a better “first impression” employee than her. While standing in line to tell her why I was there, I was able to witness multitasking at its finest. She interacted with a customer on the phone, a coworker, the service manager, the customer in line ahead of me, while typing on the computer and acknowledging me as well. She had the most upbeat attitude that I have seen for someone in a service position. When it was my turn, she listened to my story, gave me clear instructions on where to drop my trailer, where to park the truck and what information to bring back to her. She told me what time they would be able to get me into the shop and the technician delivered on that promise. She then later brought me the results on the tests on the batteries so that I was clear on what they found and so that I was then able to give back an informed decision on what I wanted them to do. Before the truck was done, she made it a point to tell me that she was leaving for the day, but there was going to be someone else to finish the transaction. I sincerely hope that she is duly appreciated by the management for her efforts in the role that she plays at this location. I apologize for not getting the name of the man that did finish the paperwork process, but he also is clearly continuing the outstanding customer service that is displayed here. The service manager (who I also failed to ask for his name) also took the time to visit with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the service. From A to Z, this was undoubtedly the best experience that I have had in a repair shop and I believe that, based on my one experience here, that they deserve all of the 5 star reviews that they get.
