Drivers! Be careful here. The lumpers are scammers. Take a picture of your load before standing on the dock. The lumpers lie that the load was restocked. My driver took off the straps and saw all pallets were good. Check-in 22:04, check-out 06:04. 8 hours for 12 pallets! Charged 448,50$ These lumpers are nature's mistake - rude, unprofessional, scammers. Never again!

Gets 1 star only because you can't go any lower, walked into receiving office and all you can smell is Marijuana, no parking docks are tight and apparently everyone is smoking dope so don't get in no hurry, if you have another stop you should plan on being lateX. have a stop after this one plan on being late

This place is a joke. Everybody act like they mad about being there. Sir, madam, the company didn't make you work there you applied for that job. 10pm appointment, get there at 9:38pm to turn into wrong entrance then the sign is just as you turn in telling you to go down to next entrance..WHY NOT HAVE THAT OUTIN THE OPEN BEFORE A DRIVER TURN IN TO AVOID THE CONFUSION!!! THEN have to sit out on the road for another hour blocking traffic, got to a dock door quick but then Still 4 hours til I left and for them to charge to unload for this aggravation is ludicrous...also the backing in is kinda tight. Why do companies do this when they have tractor with sleeper s coming in with a 53 foot trailer. We don't maneuver like a yard truck or day cab...

Just my experience alone was better than most places I end up at. Arrived at 2145 for a 2200 appt. The check in was fairly simple and easy. Not being used to having to back into tight docks like this was a bit of a challenge but take it slow and you'll be fine. After paying my lumper got my paperwork back and am rolling out at 0100. Not a bad experience for me. Well deserved 5 stars

The frozen/chilled department went home at the end of their shift without finishing the job of unloading the 2 pallets from my trailer. Or else they unloaded it and never told me that they finished it. Either way, I can't leave without the bill of lading, and I have another stop after this one. I've been here about 22 hours so far. Staff hasn't shown up to work at the times when I was told they would be back in. I hope my company never sends me here again. Update: They won't sign to document that my outgoing seals for stop 2 are intact. So I can't maintain a continuous seal record this way. My company just said to document it myself the best I can... Seems wrong to me.

I had 3 stop and this is my last drop. My appt was 2am but I get there after 4am Coz my 2nd drop took too much time to unload. I went through east gate & was told to go back of the building to check in for frozen load. Guy in receive office is rude & can’t even answer, nor open door. Receiving time is from 10pm—4am. If you get there after 4am you will have to reschedule. My broker rescheduled me for following day with layover fee. Following night was good coz that guy wasn’t there.

Best thing they ever did was assign every other door. Backing was a nightmare before that. Checking in is different everytime I come here. Freightsmith to pay lumper never works. Sat here 5 hrs after unload because of frieghtsmith

I’m so glad the bad reviews didn’t apply to my experience with this great company!! Checked in at 9:30pm my appointment was 12:01am out at 12:20am 22 pallets Security was a little negatively-aggressive but other than that. Smooth sailing. Thanks everyone.

Be prepared for dinner, at least 7 hours of a good night's sleep and breakfast. Went to the East Side gate for check-in at 9pm. Was told by the security lady sitting in a car to call the # and check-in. Then Jennifer, (very sweet and helpful lady) told me to download the app. At 5am got a call and was told to call the 303 # on the paper. Was given a COMDATA # at 5:25am by XPO Logistics. Paperwork was ready for pickup at 7:15am. Ridiculous.

Only reason why I gave 5 stars is for the lady you had to call to check in her name was Jennifer very nice. Now on the other hand the guy in the office attitude problem like crazy. You didn't do none of what we said go back to the truck.. ummm sir lady this morning told me check in time was 10pm to midnight why is my appointment time at 3am grabs the paper work and starts raising his voice. I was nice about this last time I ever come here

Last night I came to the appointment at 10 pm, I did on the app as they asked for a check in, I received the confirmation to wait in the truck that someone would call me to give me a gate. It's 10 o'clock in the morning and no one has called me yet and no one is coming to ask me anything. I mention that the check in and security girls were extremely arrogant.I sincerely hope that a manager from this company will read my review.

This place be careful coming in! Very tied on entrance. Docking is the same just be careful with the Day cabs parked. Docks 24 and up are going to be A little more complicated but slow motion but for sure Motion. Will get you in safely. I’ve been here since 10pm yesterday was the first one in. First one give a door.(24) It’s now 830am can you believe it . It’s just be ready to wait. Work is work but this is ridiculous.

Guard was nice, I arrived about 930 for a10pm appt. If you're early enough you can go in first entrance (for dry van) and driver around, if not that side is full and you'll be directed to second entrance. Watch where you stage, if you are parked in front of receiving she won't open the door until everyone is moved! Apparently they just make all appts for 10 so they assign docks as they see fit. Checked in right around 10pm. They don't open receiving (by door 88 for reefer) until then. Lady there is not exactly nicer, just does her job. She seems very organized and just goes by book. Was given a dock. Back in and unhook and they have bobtail parking area. Backing can be very tight, will test your skills. One pallet, 70 dollar lumper. Called 1220, had paperwork by 1230 as I had to hook up and move toward exit, then walk back so they could get the next 10pm appt in.

Well the reviews and advice from fellow drivers within my own company were correct. This place is a bit of a spectacle. I had a 10pm appointment, I arrived at 9:45pm and just now dollied my trailer to a door at 3am. From what it looks like the more heavy the load you have the longer the wait times are which to be completely honest doesn’t bother me I need the sleep and where I’m picking up next is another “Spectacle” in it of itself. When you pull in do yourself a favor if possible 1st swing hard left before making the right turn into the facility. 2nd when you pull in stay far to the right or go straight back to find parking in the rear. The Man door for check in is at the halfway point it’s well lit up and has a overhang. Check in then proceed back to your truck to wait for a door. 3rd you get the call, swing around and slowly yet carefully perform a straight line back to the door your assigned while reading what doors your backing by. 4th open your doors and place trailer on the dock then disconnect and park bobtail with the other tractors. You’ll receive your call once it’s done. Good Luck and God’s Speed My Son!

Docking isn't as bad as people make it out to be. However it's fun to watch all the me first guys hurry to get ahead of everyone just to take a half hour backing into a door. No skill just in a hurry. Set up correctly and you're good. They are slow.

Ok, this place is terri-bad or terrible and bad at the same time. Anything refrigerated goes to the cold dock around the back. Ain't no parking you are just jammed in just around the corner and the yard jockey will yell at you to move every once in a while. Very little room to back a sleeper cab with a 53' trailer. Not too bad but easy for a rookie to screw up. The reason it's so bad is it takes hours and hours to get off loaded. 4 pallet off load and restack takes about 5 hours and they will charge up to $300 for lumpers and a $200 reschedule fee (if late). Then you best check they got the right stuff off your truck. The 1000 appointments are all just general. Same with the 2345 appointments. They get you in a dock whenever they get to you. Only a few doors are used for inbound freight. If you use elogs this place will definitely screw your day up. They will burn your clock and tell you to leave. Of course nothing will happen to them because managing your unstoppable 14 HR clock is all on you the driver. You cannot show up 24 HR early for a delivery. If you have a 2300 appt the earliest they will let you on the lot is 1800. Plan on being here 5 to 6 hours then told to gtfo the second you get your papers.
