MHC Kenworth - Atlanta

Had our T680 in for work recently. Estimate was quoted about 9K and that was without parts. Parts were supplied by the driver and were in the front seat area of the truck. Work was gone over - in detail - with the service dept and parts supplied by the driver were noted to be inside the truck. After that, no communication except for an email with the invoice. Some work wasn't done and when asked, the service dept stated the parts couldn't be located. After some back and forth on the phone - when someone did answer - the missing parts were located inside the truck but were not able to be used because the parts were already installed, with parts from their shop. Not one call or email that parts couldn't be located or installed and can their parts be used or not. No communication that any work couldn't be completed because they weren't willing or able to do what was already discussed. Nothing. No call. No email. Just the emailed invoice and pay up now. Long story short. We aren't returning to this location. UPDATED 2 Sept 2022 TO SHARE OUR LATEST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS LOCATION: As promised, Graham was in touch with us regarding our disappointing experience with this location and did in fact refund the truck owner's money that was spent for parts that were not used by the shop. Graham's diligence in follow-up with us is very much appreciated and as promised, this review was updated to reflect that the numerous issues have now been addressed to our satisfaction. Would love to give this place five stars because they help me out as much as they could I was there almost 2 weeks there is not much communication between the service people and the mechanics that do the work that really needs to improve also there is no signs that tell you hey we’re gonna send you an email that says we need approval to get this work done I’m wondering how many people have lost days on that the cleanliness of the drivers lounge is lacking I was grateful that they had a shower and a laundry but the dryer took five hours to dry clothes and if any of the higher-ups would go in that room they would notice that that room has not been cleaned in a long time for the shower since multiple people use it they should provide some sort of cleaning bottle spray so that if another Driver needs to use the shower after the first driver they don’t catch anything otherwise the mechanics did what was asked it’s just my main complaint was communication but I am grateful for all the work they did in my truck

Had an issue with my pigtail and not being able to get the hoses and valves off the truck because they were rusted on. Micky, the on-duty mechanic, came over to assist me after I bought a new pigtail and couldn’t get it on and took time to help me and got it done. On his time. Same with Walter behind the desk. Both guys went above and beyond their jobs for me. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend! Thank you guys!

I absolutely love this location and their staff. Brandon at this location was very helpful and knowledgeable about my husband wants and needs for his truck. He was able to get my husband truck in and went over all his needs and the end results were amazing. We enjoyed working with Brandon and the rest of the staff here at this location. We get stopped at almost every stop we make because of the amazing job they did. We always recommend Brandon and his staff at Mhc for their outstanding customer service and absolutely killer work.

I am not really great at doing these reviews but with the overall purchasing experience I had at MHC Atlanta I felt worth an attempt. Professional, Honest, No and I mean no dealership BS. In short ordered my 2023 w990 during Covid and shortage of inventory. The purchase price along with the trade were fair and reasonable, it took all of 5 minutes to agree to final price. 7 months later when all truck prices were through the roof my truck was delivered. Not even a hint of changing my negotiated original price. (Even with extra miles put on my trade). I dealt with Andy Maestas who I now fully realize has way more knowledge on trucks than I do. I guarantee my next purchase even though I live 600 miles from dealership will only be through Andy and MHC.

If you have the need for any HD truck parts call Atlanta MHC dealer and ask for Daniel Sumner. He is very knowledgeable about the HD parts line and will do whatever it takes to get you the part fast and most of the time you want beat his price. I have been dealing with Daniel for several years and all has went well. I highly recommend him.

This service dept is awesome! They are all hard working folks! The triage dept got my truck knocked out fast. The people at the counter were so polite and Madison kept me up to date through the whole process. Thanks again guys!

Very pleased by how this branch is tackling the pandemic. Yes, the new safety guidelines are being enforced but I didn't let that impact the fact that they are superior in the business. They had all my parts, did a quick repair and I'm glad that Austin was able to help me out with a deal. He's very professional and passionate to help others. Thank you Austin and everyone at MHC!
